If you're playing a half-orc, you should go with a melee combat build. You get a bonus to strength and constitution, so put your highest stat in wisdom then strength and con.

I recently started DMing for a group of 6, first time I've DM'd and first time all of us have played in many years. If you own the PHB for 5E just read through it a couple times to get the hang of how the game functions as well as what race / class combo you may be interested in.
