I first watched this film while high on meth. I was at a low point in life and consuming more than I'd like to admit, everyday. Watching this film stopped my bender in its tracks for about a week and a half. Didn't make me quit drugs or anything, nothing dramatic or change my thinking, cause getting high was fun, but I can say I was then aware of the costs. Good film, not that it was the best or anything. Couldn't watch it again though, the thought of it makes me crave the drugs again.

Didn't like this movie one bit. I was waiting for the point. It didn't have one.

The only redeeming part was the end when the girl becomes a fuck slut for drugs. Lucky ass dealer, yo.

Its like trainspotting, but trainspotting is better

Just watched it for the first time also a few weeks ago, pretty fucked up movie. I thought the mom's story was dumb but Leto's gf whoring herself out for a fix was probably the best.
