I'd just wait until the shooter ran out of bullets, maybe pull the fire alarm so that it could happen a bit faster.

If you see someone about to steal your glory at the school shooting, pull the fire alarm, and once all the kids run out onto the field, drive your car over all of them. A car would kill 10 times as many kids and you'll get 10 times as much glory.
