problem is i'm lucky if i get a couple .onion links to load and i can't find a way to fiz this
so here are my questions
is this normal?

Yup welcome to TOR, Shit and horribly slow, Majority of links are changed every couple of months, resulting in thousands of dead links.
There is ways to make it faster, but honestly TOR is just garbage, Everything there is on the surface web also.
