A species, a group, a tribe. The individual in question doesn't add much, it is the interaction of this collective that brings out knowledge, culture and advancement.
Men might do impressive things like killing lions, but one can't have a functional group unit made entirely of lion hunters. There is merit in things other than task solving, like socal empathizing people who aren't too bright. It's certainly not as impressive and not as critical, but you only need so many at the top.
It's not a spectrum in which you choose one feature, one virtue, one skill, and use it as a metric to determine who's good at life. The tribe, the group, the masses are a bit more complex.

For task solving, yes.
You wouldn't wanna have someone who can make more people questing for riches or solving risky problems for the tribe.
In turn, females fuck the best men and sexual dimorphism is enhanced by sexual selection.
Men, if they fail, that's just a statistical casualty of eugenics.
Things look somewhat different nowadays, but this has been true for most of our existence as a species.

White matter transmits information faster than gray matter and facilitates creative thinking and problem-solving.
In terms of physique, on average, women are more flexible, recover from exercise more quickly, live 7 years longer, and can create new humans.
Stop trying to compare apples with oranges. Just eat the fucking fruit and enjoy.

Yeah men and women are different, not THAT different though, your comparison is two different species, humans are the same species. Evidence points to men generally being the superior model.
