I smoked for 20 years.

First thing to do is change your habits while you are smoking. You know that after meal/while driving cig? Stop it first. You need to remove your typical smoking triggers before you quite. Mkes it a lot easier.

I switched to vaping. Not because it was cool. but because I didn't want to tell my kids I was fucking dying of cancer and I wouldn't be around long.

So - for the first two weeks vaping won't feel like a cig substitute. This is the hard part. After 2-3 weeks you;ll get used to it.

...and you'll love not waking up in the middle of the night hacking up a lung, etc...

Stick with it, it's a fuck lot less worse for you than the cancer sticks, and a little cheaper.

I have an off-the-shelf $90 vape pen. Works fine. Don't be a douche with it. You're an addict, treat it as such.

Pretty much. Do your research, and talk to the sales people at vspe shops, because ultimately they can help a lot.

Now OP I assume you ask this because you smoke and want to switch. Which us fine because that's what in doing. Basically first look at how much you smoke, and try and get a MG dose that matches it, and if you want to quit, just lower that dose over time.

For me I don't walk around in public with my vape, instead I keep it at home or in my car. I don't smoke that much, mostly only when I go out drinking, so I use a smaller dose, which is 6mg.

I was never a super heavy smoker but maybe half a pack a day and started about 15 years ago when I was about 15. I still go outside to vape though, and don't talk about it, except with my friend who is also trying to quit.

On avg, after the initial setup cost, I spend $15 less at MINIMUM.

The site I get my bulk juice from gives extra bonus juices and I actually buy generally every 15-17 days. If I really wanted, I could bump the bulk order up and save another $5.

The benefits of vaping for ME, the REAL benefit. Is that I can vape anywhere I would normally have been smoking and nothing smells like cigarettes afterwards.

I dont think this is true in even a majority of cases. I think the vast majority of people who swap from smoking to vaping due it for cost benefits, a method to help quit smoking all together, or ease of use. that doesn't even account for the people who start by vaping though.

Actually I smoke tobacco that's more powerful and in greater quantities than what you get in a cigarette package, I was just asking because personally cigarettes will get so cherried when I smoke them that they don't draw smoke effectively, which makes me think that to really "smoke" a pack a day you have to let most of it burn itself away or put it out constantly.
