tbh, I think this doesn't take into account the fact that because whites are the majority, most films want white actors in the leading role (unless it's a stereotypical *insert race* character), because most of the people watching the movie will be white, and they'll be able to connect with the character better.
So, since most leading roles are white, most oscar winners are also white.
