2.5 yrs as a juvenile. Worst shit ever, kids have less rights than adults.

how is the food in jail? that's the only thing really concerning me.

It's not inedible if that's what you're asking.
There are no spices and no salt in the food at all though unless its something like a hot dog or bologna.
What a lot of people do is get ramen noodles on commissary and only use part of the seasoning pack to make their noodles, and then save the rest for meals and sprinkle the seasoning onto food to make it edible

OP here,,when i was in it was actually allowed for us to cook our meals,as long as we brought our groceries from the prison shop and used the common kitchen,,if you didnt cook you eat the prison food which was basicaly bland and untasty in general
