No. We do lots of different jobs such as tree marking or timber cruising.
The idea is to get a maximal yeild of wood fiber but then have a nice healthy managed forest grow underneath.
Have to know what kinds of trees grow where, what trees to retain, where the roads go, any buffers around sensitive areas and wildlife.
A lot of it depends on the usage for that forest, and that gets handed down to me from an RPF (registered professional forester)
