They tried pushing a camera around the Conor to get a direct view of the elephantsame foot but the camera ignited from the radiation coming off the foot. So in their brilliant Russian minds they decided to use a mirror to peek around the corner and take the picture that way.

They were sent in by the russian gov't to find the melted fuel to make sure it wasn't about to burn through the concrete floor and get into the ground water under the reactor. If it got into that water it would have exploded. Those guys are certainly dead.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swnCitHs8xs

They sent these guys on the roof of the building to pick up nuclear material with there hands and through it into the hole made by the explosion. Everyone of them got critically ill or died.

It's racial memory, now known as genetic memory. It's like an advanced form of instinct. Humans are so neurotic and heavily trained that their genetic memory is largely overwhelmed by stimulus and modern programming and education, but it is nevertheless a real phenomenon.

It is very likely that humans were not the first sentient species on the planet. There well could have been a proto-avian/reptile/amphibian/dinosaur master race that shepherded and selectively bred the best primates into a working class of slaves only to have them grow out of hand. Many of the world's creation stories reflect such a thing.

Just look at Genesis. Humans weren't just kicked out of the garden. They were banned permanently, and an armed guard was set. A cherubim, and a "flaming sword that turned every way" to guard the way of the "Tree of Life" lest they eat thereof and become immortal.

Because they had broken the command and eaten of the "Fruit of The Tree of Knowledge, Good and Evil" and their eyes were opened.

Things are not always as they seem.

Everyone says aliens, because that's the meme, and that may be so, but I don't think it means extraterrestrials, necessarily. There was a vast diversity of life before mankind gained its stranglehold on the world.

There may well have been many more adept, intelligent and civillized species than man. Just look how mankind destroys its own culture and civilization, demolishing history for temporary gain, and imagine what they have done to the cultures and peoples from other species. Their cultures would have been destroyed and their assets, technologies and resources dominated by the collective force of human encroachment. Maybe they didn't believe in war, but human war believed in them while there was something to loot..

The level of global communication we have now has never been achieved before in recorded history and has only existed for about 50 years, and even transnational communication is only centuries old and was incredibly slow and inaccurate, and these kids think that these cultures alien to each other, separated by vast distances and time created such identical depictions because they played the same video game, lol

Yes, I understand that, and again,

>I'm not literally saying a company was selling the ideas to consumers all around the word.

I'm saying that it's just a repeating unit of culture. Dozens of cultures spread out across the world also have stories of great flying serpents (dragons), and almost every culture has an apocalyptic flood story, but we don't freak out about that. I guess I just don't get what's implied. Seriously, if not just common stories, what do you think happened? I sincerely think that it's either just one story or archetype that communities hung on to, or it's just a common theme human stories find their way to. In other words, a self perpetuating unit of culture that communities hang on to because they think it's cool, and if it's part of their religion, people are definitely making money off.

Bruh, being "kicked out of the garden" is a metaphor for being born on earth. Here, we are not immortal. In "the garden" we are timeless and thus eternal. It's a metaphor. The guard is the veil-the separation between this 'mortal life' and our home, the garden if you will, where we are eternal.

In the bible, being 'born again' refers to dying from earth-mortality and re-entering the eternal realm, home.

First, thank you for being reasonable and engaging the topic at hand instead of resorting to ad hominems like "Let's play army men" up the thread.

Now, I believe that these common stories, depicting similar creatures and events are likely the result of an actual event in the collective memory of mankind. I believe that is the only rational explanation to explain how cultures that had never knew the other existed, show such similar depictions.

I understand that culture is communicated and spreads among people. What I'm highlighting is that this could not have occurred in many of these examples due to the extreme geographic or temporal constraints imposed, and therefore it lends credence to an actual occurrence of, for example, a global upheaval leading to catastrophic world wide flood (such as tidal forces from a large massed body close to Earth), or some advanced unknown race or species now lost to time.

Yeah, for sure, I just mean that it's surprising how many cultures have a story of a big apochalyptic flood being the reason for a total culture reset, and there's usually just a single dude or a single couple that survive. Not saying it actually happened, or that it's not just a story, just think universal stories like that are cool.

>>721997087
Had you considered the commonalities that people get when tripping on stuff? Like people all over the world, from different cultures and lifestyles, tend to see very similar images and themes when tripping balls on hallucinogens. If you listen to people describe their trips when they're on Shrooms or Iowaska or whatever, they often describe very similar themes and "beings" they meet within the trip. Considering that so many religious rituals (especially ancient ones) involved the use of altered states of mind, that could be where some of the common images are coming from, just a quirk of what the human mind wants to see when it's slipped its moorings for a bit.
>>
>>721996898
Tungsten is dense, titanium not dense. Both probably too expensive.
>>
>>721996898
>>721997485
Wouldn't tungsten be a bad choice because it's so dense? Like, a tungsten bullet is going to weigh almost twice what an equally sized steel bullet would, and if my understanding is correct, when it comes to armor penetration speed is more important than mass (consider discarding sabot rounds).
