dunno if troll or not, but in all my experience with LSD, I've never found it to be an effective way to escape any problems I've had going on at the time, if anything it's often seemed to bring those issues and points of anxiety front and center, part of what I like about it. Not OP, but probably did acid hundreds of times. If you take a normal dose, you should have no trouble climbing stairs. It might feel like you're doing it forever though (no really, you might feel that 1 minute was like 5 or something)

same guy. don't get me wrong, it IS a fucking hell of an experience. it's almost like your trip speeds the fuck up, colours and hallucinations "accelerate", you feel waves of intense euphoria etc and just have a super intense trip. Depends on the person, but most would agree it's hard to go wrong with shrooms. If you're stable and you have a low stress environment, it's more of a toss-up.

They're both insane compared to waking, sober life either way, go with whatever you can get for a first try. All I can say is mushrooms tend to be more sedating, LSD more energetic.
Mushrooms are more introspective; you look inwards and confront any conflicts there are in your person by completely disassociating with the idea of "you".
LSD is more about the world around you works, and how insanely small you are compared to it.

A nice analogy if you know your science is LSD is gravity, mushrooms is quantum physics: an essential science of extremely massive things vs an essential science of microscopic things. Outwards, inwards etc.

Tolerance builds up. As a general rule, if you want to trip an extra consecutive day, you have to double your dose. Goes for each day you wanna drop again. Tolerance lasts two weeks.

Also, the fact they're such huge experiences makes them linger in your mind for months afterwards; you don't really NEED to do it often. Even the most dedicated psychonauts don't do it much more than once every couple weeks to get the most out of the stuff

For your first time make sure you get absolutely no negative stimuli. Seriously.
When inexperienced you can drift into a bad trip pretty easily, and bad acid trips are indescribably horrible.

First time I tried acid was when I turned sixteen. The trip went bad when I was like 1 hour in and it fucked me up so bad I had to drop out of school and was socially isolated for almost a year. I didn't know it was possible to feel as empty, destroyed and depressed as I did after that trip.

Make sure everything is chill and fun and nice your first time. If you do want to experiment with more unpredictable stuff while tripping get a tripsitter.

It's bullshit. I guess it's probably happened SOMEWHERE since we live in a world of 7 billion people and a lot of them take acid, but that's just people being people. Crazy shit goes down.

But anyway on psyches you're still aware. You know risks when you see em. In fact I find I'm hyper-aware of everything, more in tune with my instincts. Even on a first time, if anything you'll be safer than when you're sober because you're being so cautious with everything you do. You're telling yourself "shit I better not do anything stupid" despite spending the whole 7 hours in your living room. Alcohol is the dangerous one as far as putting yourself in danger goes.

It's worth mentioning though, I've had a friend who was sat in the back of the car panick and try grab the steering wheel mid-journey cos the oncoming traffic seemed to be coming so fast he convinced himself he had to step in, but that's just intense panic hightened by the acid rather than psychotic disassociation with reality. Stay away from vehicles and if you're walking near a road, keep reminding yourself to stick to the sidewalk as it's easy to stray onto the road without really realising. It turns out when you're running on instinct, manmade shit like cars can require a hell of a lot of concentration to kinda understand.

That's a horror story, yeah, but honestly, be sensible and you'll be fucking fine.
