I deal with long term patients, patients who have been dealing with their illness for a very long time, longer then i have known them in most cases.

So if they give you advice, often times they DO know it better.
Because of this we often stary from protocol but we do have to have a valid reason for doing so.

For example, when a patient has decended into their bed you have to lift them till they can sit right.
Only some patients are very overweight.
So even with a lift mat you wont be able to do that on your own.

So in that situation i would just use a lift.
And then there is a protocol for putting that on.. but you kind of just have to do whatever works when you are dealing with a fat person

How much money do you make a year on average

I see, where I'm from, nurses don't do the ass-wiping jobs (we have aides for that) and there are two main levels (nurses who didn't attend university and have a 1 year/1 year and a half profesional diploma and those that have at least 4 years of university and have their undergraduate diploma). Then from the upper level (university) you have those with masters degrees so 2 more years that are called nurse practitionners and are kind of ''mini doctors'' in a specialty for which they train and can diagnose and treat ilnesses for. And lastly, you have the ones with a doctorate/ph.d which takes 4 more years to complete (atleast here it does) that are even more specialised and trained, but most of them do it to be able to teach at university or do research in labs on ilnesses.

Those are all things you have to catch up on and relay.

Toen ik mijn opleiding volgde moest ik 40 uur in de week aan school besteden, had ik 5-10 uur vrijwilligerswerk om mn cv mooi te maken.

Mijn ouders verdienden genoeg en ik viel in het nieuwe systeem dus ik moest gewoon betalen.

Ik werkte me elke week kapot, nam 3 uur per dag de bus naar rotterdam en terug (totaal)

En alle zwarte en bruine mensen kregen een uitkering.
Die kregen 400-500 euro elke maand van de overheid, studie werd vergoed, en hadden zelf niet eens verdomme een baan.

Ze hadden het lef te zeggen van "waarom ga je niet op kamers?" en zeggen met volle trots en blijdschap "oh gelukkig hoef ik dat niet te doen" en "bij mij betaald de overheid dat lekker" .
Elke dag kwamen ze met avocado bagels van 4 euro per stuk uit de kantine.. elk weekend gaan ze uit.

Je zou denken dat van zulke nederige komaf je juist de waarde van geld kan inzien, maar nee, ze verbrassen alles, en snappen maar niet dat hun gedrag absoluut verachtelijk is.

Dit is niet per see een moslim probleem en meer een buitenlander probleem..
maar ik kan hier wel uren over doorpraten en het haalt echt het bloed onder mn nagels vandaan.
