Try joining a sports team, I used to play video games a lot when I was a kid, and I joined the neighborhood basketball team to get myself out and about and such. It worked for me and now I regularly hike and go outdoors. Look around for something you enjoy doing, its amazing what you can do if you find something you like.

Hm, that definitely sounds like a stalker. If you want to try to keep her from following you home again use the bad neighborhood to let her down nicely. Tell her that it's dangerous and you don't want her to get hurt if she came around your house again. It might not work but its worth a shot.

I don't really go to /fit/, but I studied it a bit in school and I always liked science and anatomy, so I ended up taking a few of those classes. I learned what I could from that and then found someone to teach me boxing and sambo. I play basketball with some of the people in my neighborhood and I enjoy hiking and running. Recently I've been getting into parkour and even more martial arts, because its just something I love doing. I guess its a hobby but one that I take very seriously because I care about my health. I even ended up teaching myself how to cook because of it.

That happens a lot, I tend to be a pretty charming guy. Also I've noticed that if you can be passionate about something and love doing it, you can end up finding other people that love whatever it is that you like. That common link is great in creating conversations.

Try to go out and see if there's anyone who will hike with you. When I was starting out I went to some local gyms to recruit people for the basketball team and some have started hiking with me. If you've got a gym or a dojo or something in your area that could be a place for some new friends. Otherwise, just keep doing what you can.

Time is always a limiting factor. The one bad thing about my schedule is that I end up sleeping very little, sometimes to the point of only getting around an hour of sleep a day. But I suppose most people need their sleep, so that's probably not a good idea for you. In that case, I just tell myself to make the time for the things I enjoy, no matter whatever other people thought.

Sometimes the small things in life are the best. Some of my favorite moments are just sitting back and talking with my friends, not really doing anything, and its so small I forget the experience, but its wonderful while it lasts. Don't be afraid to try new things either, maybe try walking a new trail in the woods or making your own. Some of my favorite times I've had hiking are when I've gone off the beaten path and into some area people usually don't go to. Also, you can usually find some pretty nice climbing rocks depending on the area.
