Also there's no palm print on the right print and the palm print on the left is small enough to be human. So apply occam's razor and you're left with someone drawing in the snow. Then there's the placement (right outside the door) easy to draw and not leave any other prints, but awkward for a wild animal to land and take off from there.

looks like a cat jumped from roof/window and landed there. clearly looks like 4 paws slightly sliding due to angle, then he would have just jumped to the left where there is no snow... since cats would rather walk where there is no snow if possible. mystery solved .
