Games only you remember
>This game outside of America was called Ace Golf, it's on GameCube
The hilarious racism in this game is on par with punch out.
Lure of the Temptress, a point n' click graphic adventure for DOS.
I'll keep dumping OP, this post has potential.
>Arcanum, of steamworks and magick obscura
An isometric cRPG with a mix of classic fantasy and industrial revolution steampunk.
>Alien Shooter 2
An isometric hack & slash similar to Diablo, only with guns, explosives and hordes of aliens. Very fun.
Syphon Filter was the shit.
>Tales of Phantasia (SNES)
A classic JRPG similar to Final Fantasy, but with a great combat system with a lot of movement and freedom. Excellent soundtrack, story, etc. 10/10 for me. This version was in japanese but translated to english by DeJap, a group of fans.
Shamus from 80s. I played it mid 90s, but i weren't able to beat it because i was too young.
Creepy as fuck
>Trash It
A DOS platform game where you are some kind of construction worker, who instead of building anything, he just destroys things with his big sledgehammer.
This one is probably the rarest one from my list.
Come on OP, help me keep YOUR thread alive.
>>720558002
indeed, awesome as fuck. the 2nd one was pretty good, after that it went downhill fast
>>720558222
Loved that game
>>720558096
Is it connected to the other tales of games? Im currently playing tales of berseria on my ps4 and I'm just wondering
>>720557555
>racism
Interested; please explain.
>>720558350
CONNECTED? It's the first one, dammit! It makes me angry that so few people know of this game. But it had a lot of remakes: PS1 and GBA. I tried playing some of the others, I really did. But this is a masterpiece, the others feel like steamy crap in comparison.
>>720558222
Check 'em!
>>720558447
The accents for characters are hilariously stereotyped with classics such as:
>Mexican named Carlos who talks like "aye homes" with a fake gangster accent
>Japanese man in a kimono and you can't ever understand what he says
>Black lady who's name is along the lines of donquisha (it's just as ridiculous but not that)
There are a lot more like that the game is really fun though
>>720558490
Damn my bad I've only ever played symphonia, zestiria, berseria, xillia, and Vesperia. I don't know much about the games besides that they are great.
>>720558002
Aw yeah
Shooting scientists as they cower in corners it's the bestest
Oh my god, Gabe. You killed a CDC agent.
Dunno why, but it just gives me the feeling.
>>720557903
Playing it right now.
>>720558002
Dude, fuck yeah
>>720559260
I played it for a while but got bored, lol. Besides I read the battles are really unbalanced and the game is really buggy. How's your experience so far?
Critical Mass
I originally played (an older version) back when you had to send away for a Floppy Disc in the mail.
> Lode Runner: The Legend Returns
I logged an unholy number of hours in this as a kid. A friend and I constantly designed our own puzzles and challenged each other to see who could stump the other.
I can still hear the music in my mind today. Wish someone like CDProjekt would do a remaster.
>>720560186
Holy shit, I loved this game in NES, had no idea there were others... Downloading right now, thanks anon!
Stick RPG, the flash game, on XGenStudios. Fucking. Classic.
>>720560407
I think I still might have the cd of the PC version somewhere in a closet. Might have to go rummaging for it.
>>720560589
Lol, that's a relic, save it for posterity. I have the original 5 1/4 floppy disks of Monkey Island.
>>720561017
Shit, man. Now that makes me want to try to find my old SimCity2000 and Doom floppies.
Not that I have a drive sitting around anywhere to read them, but fuck it.
First game I completed too.
Great for 2 player couch days
>>720561017
Do you remember Solar Vengeance?
>>720561862
That game was utter trash, and I fucking loved it.
Wish I still had my copy.
Loved Toy Pop
>>720562026
Agreed

Gotta love extreme violence
One of my all time favorite games
>>720561718
Never played it, but it looks very good! Downloading...
>>720562742
Heard of this but never played it
One of my favorite game soundtracks along with jet set radio
This and the deer avenger series
Toy Commander
>>720557555
This game is called cat trap, i played it a lot on gameboy when i was was a wee lad
>>720557555
Btw nice trips, OP. Almost 6 consecutive numbers (don't know the name of that get)
>>720562742
>>720562785
>>720562854
I had all 3 of these on Dreamcast! Good times.
>>720562974
It's similar to a lot of other puzzle games, like Sokoban.
What a strange and fun game
>>720563043
I barely realized my repeating digits
>>720562927
Both of these were hilarious
>Day of the tentacle
A great and funny time traveling point and click from Lucas arts studios.
Pro tip it free in the ps4 ps store right now
On par with the monkey island games. If you haven't played those DO IT
I played this for hours at a time
>>720563138
I claimed it on ps4 but haven't downloaded it. The only point and click games I've played are the leisure suit Larry series and putt putt
>>720563138
I love graphic adventures. Even did a few of my own with Adventure Game Studio.
Descent 1+2
Played it like 100x times.
Descent 3 I did not like, though.
>>720563294
These and Forsaken for the N64 were great
>>720563083
mynigga.jpg
its a shame it had that glitch were you couldn't collect all the trophies. BRB replaying
Wayyy back, Commodore 64 times.
I really liked the setting: you were trapped in a bunker and had to navigate robots to open it from outside.
>>720563236
It's fun anon
>>720563239
Ever played
>toonstruck
>Sam n Max hit the road
Both are on the same level as monkey island and day of the tentacle

>>720562047
I loved this on Namco Museum Vol. 1
Music was great.
>>720561746
>>720561811
>>720561862
>>720562478
BF1. I remember that game was so cash!
>>720563541
Thats where I played it too and I agree about the music
Some turn based gamecube game where you went on and bazookaed the shit out of your enemies, with happy graphics. My friend swears on his mother that we never played that game together and makes me feel psycho
>>720563067
I miss my dreamcast. It was an awsome console.
Big mutha truckers on the ps2. The sex noises that happened in the game when my dad was in the same room as I made things pretty awkward.
I wanna play this now
<It's a good idea to go play this right now.
Get a cracked version of myboy for savestates, but they're only needed when crafting items.
Also, use the turbo A button for real.
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King GBA
Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers GBA
Two other more adult looking diablo clones, there is far less gameplay and maps than SS2 but there's easily years of gameplay here. Truly the same game as diablo, but portable. I recommend these three whenever I can.
Everyone I've spoken too doesn't remember the game but they remember ratchet and clank. This is my favourite game series though and I loved daxter's one liners that went over my head as a kid.
>>720564082
Tried to get the Jak and Daxter games running on an emulator but all the shadows were bugged, all characters were missing one of their eyes and other things were missing too but only graphically.
Heart of Darkness. I haven't met someone who even knew that game
>>720564082
I actually have a precursor orb tattoo, as well as an omni-wrench, and the sly cooper logo
I wish there were more games like Mercenaries 1&2
>>720564303
Sly cooper is definitely a favourite too. Post tattoos?
>>720564082
one of the best playstation 2 game ever
>>720564303
I bet you are going to love that Sly Cooper movie abomination
This game is so much fun
Deer Avenger 2
>>720563758
HOW WHAS THIS SHIT CALLED
>>720564447
Well, I loved the ratchet and clank movie, probably just because of the nostalgia glasses though
>>720563758
? It reminds me of the game I was gonna post called advance wars so maybe this is it.
I actually got a virus on my 486DX from this game - that was bought at an actual computer store all shrink wrapped & everything.
Played the shit out of this game, even though it sucked all the asses througha straw.
>>720565059
Fucking excellent but hard game
>>720565059
My favorite handheld multiplayer
Carmageddon
Bioforge.
Great game for it's time. Despite the awful controls for the fight sequences
My family owned all 3 of these collections, hydro thunder was so amazing for the time
>>720563758
>>720564729
You're not talking about Worms, are you? Awesome game on PC, but I don't know if it was on GameCube
>>720564013
I played the beginning of this game
Fuck yeah!!!!
Anyone remember Star Control?
Nostalgia...
>>720563337
>Shake Shake
>>720564013
Fucking great game. I still play this today since I never got rid of the cartridge. Once you have the glitched unlucky hood all enemies drop loot and it becomes possible to make high end gear.
>>720564729
What not how you retard.
>>720559722
I finished it several times
The game is indeed buggy, nothing game breaker and the official patches fix most of them, the unofficial ones makes the game just fine
The balance is a mess, they forced a real time combat style like diablo where slow characters are useless and fast one fight at the speed of light, but if you play turn based everything works right
Also, in turn based the game by itself os piss easy, unofficial balancing patches made the difficulty right and overhauled the tecnological warfare wich was too weak
I suggest everyone this game because is very fun to play, has a fascinating lore, a great OST and some pretty well designed gameplay
>>720566394
I just finished getting those two things yesterday on the ninja (70/sword). Also 99 warrior/sword and 66 brawler/knife.
I think very highly of this game, a glance at the FAQ shows clearly how intricate it is. 2 Months in/8 hours a day and I've only seen 25% of the gear available and 35% of how stronk it can get.
