It really does matter what strain, they all have different affects.
I have several strains and smoke whatever I'm in the mood for.
It's not really about total THC%, the different highs come from different ratios of cannabinoids, and terpenes will also have some affect.

The place I frequent always has a 6 dollar joint of the day, usually a gram or .8 grams of really potent cannabis, sometimes you get two .5 grams. (It doesn't matter to me either way though because I usually empty the joint into my bowl and smoke that way.)

I can also get a 5 pack of 10mg chocolate edibles for 15 dollars. None of the other locals carry chocolate, usually like cookies or other things that can expire right quick.

See, I always have the opposite. I have the anxiety and the stress hit me harder when I stop smoking. I don't sleep anymore, I don't eat as much, but once I start smoking again, things balance out, and I feel functional again.

I've been told that's just life circumstances that I need to change though, so I'm working on that, and maybe I'll stop smoking for a bit, but right now, it helps a lot.

I have many friends that are, I think they affect me differently than them, it's odd.
The reason so many indica strains are around is that they produce a lot, and do it much faster than sativas.
I have one sativa that flowers for 16 weeks, and an indica done in 8 that also produces about 50% more.

When it comes to understanding weed, there's no way the general public could ever fully get the picture. To understand why weed isn't really all that bad for them, they'd have to first understand why the whole "lazy stoner is lazy" trope is so outdated and that involve learning the difference between indica, sativa, the hundreds of different strains, and how they all affect you differently.

There really is a science behind it all, and for most people, that would all become so daunting to understand, that it's probably just easier for them to hate on it instead.

Yeah I smoke regularly and an 8th will last me half the month if I smoke it all to myself. My ex best bud was a dealer, and legit addicted. Been smoking since he was 15. He had to be smoking every 20 minutes or so, and it took a lot of weed to get him high because of his dependency. So it's easy to understand why they would go through an 8th so quickly.

On the other hand, if you don't have much of a dependency, pack a single hitter in there, and I guarantee you, one hit will at least get you buzzed, a second hit will get you high, and anything after that will probably toast you. These are the results I get from a simple 10 inch glass bong with an ice catch and diffused downstem.

My bong looks something sorta like this, but with green trim.

If you see those indentations in the glass, about midway up, that's an ice catch. You put ice in there and it "catches". Ice is good for lessening the harshness of the smoke.

The downstem is that long glass tube-y piece dipping into the water in the chamber, that's necessary for creating an airtight seal for suction to pull the smoke into the bong, and you'll see little slits at the bottom of it, and those are diffusion holes, they create bubbles and once again, make your smoke less harsh.

There are other things like percolators, which usually do what that downstem does, but better. However I find that the diffused downstem and ice alone work just fine.

The ice catch is the set of indentations in the middle of this bong that holds ice and makes your hit smoother.

The downstem is that glass tube that is inserted into the water, which creates an airtight seal for suction, and draws the smoke into the main part of the bong (tube chamber, whatever you wanna call it). Not that guy, but I understand that feeling. I stopped smoking weed twice last year for a combined total of about 5 months. Once for professional reasons, and the other time just for me. During both time periods, I never got the overwhelming urge to go smoke anything. It was easy to quit cold turkey, and the only downside was that I didn't sleep as well right off the bat for a few nights.

Cannabis is a bit tricky, and I can only speak for myself, yet I like to do things high. It just enhances the experience for me, but I don't by any means NEED it to feel "normal", and that's the major difference I feel people don't get about cannabis. I never do experience placebo effects on things. When someone is clearly not what it claims to be, such as a pill or non alcoholic drink, then I don't the effects, because it's not really medicine or alcohol. The same can be said for weed. I know when I'm good and baked, and I get that when consuming these edibles. There is no trickery involved.

I have major mental issues because of my past life. Like huge. And i cannot stop myself from getting unsober since it's the only way i can relax (have a standing bpm aroun 90, and i'm kinda fit).

The best I can think of would be Super Lemon Haze from Greenhouse Seeds.
It's a good sativa hybrid that it pretty easy to grow. It won't stretch like a full sativa, and it will produce well and bud faster.
I'm growing it now but their still seedlings, also grew it years ago and missed it so bought another packs of seeds for $50

It started out as laughing. At first I figured it was people around me, but it was also happening when I was at home or alone. It'd sound like someone was in the room with me, laughing at a joke that had just been told to them. It happened a lot more often during periods of high stress. I forgot to congratulate you on going to therapy. I've been going since August, and to be honest, your therapist can help you to understand what's going on MUCH better than you ever could on your own, but frankly, besides that and maybe teaching you a coping technique or two, unless your hallucinations are systemic (meaning something going on with your body or going on in your life is causing it, and getting to the root of the problem can make it go away, and for good most of the time) then your only quantum of sorrow lies with anti-psychotics, which would (hopefully) greatly alleviate your hallucinations. And while the therapist cannot "officially" diagnose you with whatever you have, he will more than likely schedule you an appointment with the in house psychiatrist who can, and they will be the ones to prescribe you with those drugs as well. That's where I'm at in all of this. I have been waiting to see her for months, and I finally got an appointment scheduled for Tuesday, after waiting nearly 5 months now. But beware, while I hear anti-psychotics help greatly, I also hear from people who've used em', that they turn you into a real zombie of make you completely numb emotionally.

I was using the little green piece of shit plastic here for about a year. It gunked up easily, wouldn't grind for shit, and it was a bitch getting it out. It has small section for storing the ground up weed, but it's hard to get the lid off, and if I wasn't careful, I'd have weed flying everywhere.

I just upgraded to the wooden one.It's very simple, just wood and metal teeth. No way to store it either, but it's simply amazing at grinding, I can grind a real decent amount all at once, and it's easy to remove. Best of all, it hasn't gunked up yet around the sides, and each grind is as smooth as the last. I only payed about 10 dollars after tax too, so it's totally worth it.
