Its a good drug. Make sure you take enough to get the full effect, somewhere in the 200-300 ug range. Also make sure you have shit to do and friends to do it with. First of all maybe cool it on the writing down stuff to think about and overplanning/overthinking your trip. Just take the L with no expectations and, if you want, an intent and see where it takes you.

Second of all 100 ug is a very modest dose. You'll still feel it but don't expect too much beyond the mental effects and maybe some very light visuals. You don't know what ego death is and its not something you go looking for lightly. You won't get it taking 100 ug and goofing off with your friends. If you want ego death (and you better really fucking want it, because it can be hellishly unpleasant) then take a fat dose and spend it in solitude.

Thirdly, nature is always good tripping so finding a way to get out and enjoy some nature would be ideal.

Finally, my best experiences with acid have always been taking it at festivals. A fat dose at mid-afternoon followed by good tunes, good vibes and more than a few drinks is the formula for a very good night in my experience. But the situation you have planned will also be good.

I say all this as a very experienced psychedelic user. I've tripped more times than I can count on L and shrooms, and taken very large doses of both, 7 grams of dried mushrooms on an empty stomach and into the 700-800 ug range of LSD.

Ego death, disassociation, its the same shit bro. Do you think disassociation is pleasant? There's a reason most people regard the K-hole as a fuck up on the users part, most people don't want to get to the point where they either question the validity of themselves or their reality. I stand by what I said, if you want to experience ego death/disassociation on LSD then take a big dose and spend the trip alone. Hike, climb a mountain, hit the bars, go to a show, whatever you do you'll be doing it more fully than you ever have before and that is the point of LSD my friend. Hey no worries man, and I'm not necessarily telling you to completely lock off the possibility of ever trying to get to ego death in LSD, I'm just pointing out that the way you're thinking about it right now is all wrong. It can be useful, but in the same way a forest fire is useful to the forest. Its a bit of creative destruction for the psyche, but destruction all the same and in that regard it has the potential for harm. Just be careful if you ever end up going down that path.

MDMA can be a good time, but L is gonna be very different. At 100 ug its gonna be a lot less intense than your MDMA experience, I can tell you that much right now. But its also less of an intoxicant, more of a genuine altered state of consciousness. It can help bonding, but only if you use it to do so.

Shpongle and vidya and silly internet bullshit are all solid choices. Shpongle is much better tirpping at home than live these days too, I can tell you that from experience lol. I'd also recommend a bit of alcohol as well, alcohol has very good synergy with acid. And if you're looking for other music to sample Tipper and Ott are god tier, but really whatever music you already enjoy will be enjoyable.

One more thing, for me I find it hard to enjoy stuff I already know too well. Watching a show or movie I've seen a lot before, the L just makes me remember it even better so its just boring. New experiences on LSD are best.

Yeah its fine. Its fine to do it during as well. I personally find it doesn't effect my trip much, but everyone seems to react differently. Some say it dampens their trip, some says it intensifies it, and some like me say it doesn't do much at all (at least unless you smoke a shit ton). Well not necessarily, your friend MIGHT get like that, unlikely at a low dose but possible. Either way best way to prevent that from happening is to keep yourselves occupied. I must sound like a broken record at this point, but I cannot say it enough that L works best when used actively.
