The electoral college isn't your problem, but you don't realize that because you never bothered to read the constitution before proudly displaying your astounding ignorance to the world.

In thee US Constitution, the states choose the president through the electoral college, and choose their Senators directly. Constitutionally, the only national election that goes to the people are the elections for the House of Representatives. If a state wants it's governor to appoint its electors and senators without so much as a single vote, it is not only perfectly constitutional but was quite common before the big wave of populism in the early 20th century.

You want equal representation for the vote for president? Fine, each state gets one vote for president. Because *they* are the entities responsible for the president.
