I bought a used electric but I noticed some flaws, screws and metal part in general are a little rusty, and I think the wood of the neck has warped and the E chord touches the frets when it vibrates, also I can see the frets don't adhere perfectly to the neck. Am I right thinking that guitar was kept in a humid place and got damaged?

I bought it as a collector of Hello Kitty merch, and to a much smaller degree (since I tend to sell them) guitars. It was a 2 for 1. I bought it the day I saw it was discontinued at a local guitar shop because I knew it would go up in value. But then it had a really nice neck, and what else can be said about a strat body. I played it a bunch and ruined the value. Not upset.

The Tele is a 1987 MIJ 62 reissue, had the neck planed from 7.25 inch radius back to 9.5 inch and big stainless steel frets installed.

I've got another Tele, 2012 US Standard that's on the bench right now having a middle pickup installed.

These are my guitars at the moment. I have a fender acoustic somehwere aswell.

It's a Fender Jaguar and Pink Dmavery. Both play really well. The sound is meh but the playability is great.

They're alright. They have really wide D shaped necks and are more neck heavy than they should be.

They also skimp on the hardware so expect problems down the line. But for a bedroom guitar player I see no problem with it.

I got my SG Full Gloss special for $400, my Les Paul Classic in a trade for my Jazzmaster and I paid $1400 for my Les Paul Custom. GIbsons used aren't that expensive. You just have to be patient.

Just buy used man and see if you can get a SG faded. Those are loads better than the Epis. Or at least find a Epiphone Prophecy or a LTD Viper. Those came with good hardware.
