Not the guy you replied to, but I actually listened through Mayhem's De Mysteris Dom Sathanas and Burzum's Filosofem while on LSD and had not listened to black metal that much before.

Shit was so cash and now I love it. Also Darkthrone's Trasilvanian Hunger was awesome. So intense and atmospheric, while outside during night time.

I recommend doing the same if anyone has listened to some metal before.
