Hello Anonymous! Welcome to the Shrine After Hours! I'm Kagami and I'll be watching over things for a little while. There's no tarot here but I can give you some advice if you need it. Have fun!
Hi there! I'm doing fine, thanks for asking!
Listen if Reimu wants to show you her feet that's her business but I'm not into that!
I'm here just for you. We need to talk, please.
Why you know my name? You read minds?
Dunno, hello Yomi.
I have realized some reliances that will set my project back in progress for a time.
M-me? I feel special.
She's never here.
Yeah i'm a mind reader!
<3 how are you?
You are special, but I think you'll want to have this conversation with me alone for various reasons...
Will there be lewd involved?
>not home right now
I'm doing fine! What about you?
I'm not a bully! You said something weird to me just now!
Hey, never got a way to talk with you, was thinking of watching anime or something. Are you up for that sort of stuff?
Wow, say, know my birthday?
I didn't get the chance to thank people in Reimu's thread. I hope they're still around.
I'm great thank you for asking.
I-if you play your cards right, I guess. But it's important.
Relax, it's nothing you'd find interesting...
I wish, but the internet here is one of the worst on Earth.
Want to talk now?
If I'm around I stay until the threads 404...
Sola gjekk i ringen, sumaren sende
Hanar galar rismål for alvar i enga
Thank you for the warm welcome in the earlier thread you two. Nep and Orihara, is it?
Now or as soon as possible. In private... trust me.
Uhm, I'm here, atleast... hi.
What a shame, I wanted someone to watch Evangelion with.
Hey, it's you.
hn.. i don't know
That anime makes me cry, you'll get so annoyed with me.
Hi, motherfuckers~ How's it goin'?
Yes, it is me.
Finally, someone who appreciates good music.
If you're socially awkward, that just means you need practice! Make some goals for yourself. Try to start conversations with a new girl once a week or whenever you get the chance! Think of it this way: if the conversation fails, you already weren't going to meet her before you decided to talk so what did you lose? And even if it fails, you got some practice and maybe learned a thing or two for next time!
I'll answer to whatever name you want to identify me as.
Well, it's up to you but I really do think it's something you'll want to hear about.
If I may, I might have a strategy for you to employ.
At your next meet, practice your speech aloud to yourself, within earshot of the girl you'd like to interact with. Proceed to ask her, as awkwardly/flustered as comes natural, if she's willing to help you practice. Once you do your speech, ask her for thoughts and criticism on your method. It's important to ask her this because, by doing so, you are building rapport by valuing her opinion.
Now, if she does not take to helping you practice, which I'd imagine is rare, since people, when put on the spot, tend to give affirmative responses, simply try another girl.
If you're worried about having trouble even initiating conversation and approaching the girl, I suggest running a quick errand beforehand. The social interaction between you and the register clerk primes you for further social interaction, making your task a touch easier. You don't necessarily need to talk to a clerk; any semi-stranger will do, this is just what came to mind.
Orihara it is. Izaya might be too personal at this point.
I'm there, hurry up.
But hasn't everyone seen that already?
(Watch it again anyway.)
I do too. It's fun to be opened and honest with everyone.
Excel Saga is my second favorite anime behind NGE.
Probably my favourite along with Yu Yu Hakusho.
I've never seen Excel Saga.
Mine as well.
Its great I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Remember how I linked you that ending song earlier, with the dog singing?
How about Mouse Ears?
"Look, I care about you so that's why I'll be direct, I don't really love you anymore and I want to end this relationship, if we kept going like this we would end up both getting hurt, so that's why I'm breaking up with you."
Does that works?
Nothin', nothin'. Just a thing.
all stand for the somalian national anthem
Be direct, be clear, and have conviction.
A mistake I see people doing far too often is trying to pin the failure of the relationship onto themselves. Exercising that saying, "It's not me, it's you." By doing this, you aren't doing that person any favors. They will not be aware of their flaws, they will not strive to correct them, and they will not grow on a personal level.
So, sit down and talk with your girlfriend in an environment free from any distractions. Make it clear that you cherished the time you spent together, but give her the reasons why you'd like to break up. Don't go heavy-handed and rattle off a list of her shortcomings, but try to frame it as more of a fundamental difference in lifestyle, personality, belief, etc.
And do not try and remain friends.
I would rather not stand. but I will listen.
I, uhm, ok?
Glad I could help anonymous.
I want to know you, you seem chill.
It was clearly intended for that shrine maiden. Tch.
That's nice anon, I never knew that variant of that song existed.
should girls show feet on the first date?
Not being clear from the onset leaves room for complications and misinterpretations. Give her the reasons.
Yes, it might hurt her. But breakups are painful for a reason. By giving her the reasons, you are at least fostering opportunity for her to improve herself.
Thank you. I'll be around on the threads.
It's way slower.
Tell me about yourself. You don't mind, do you?
Your voice is very soothing.
What is it that you would like to know?
I'm glad you find it so.
Anything really, I just got suddenly, uh, exhausted so anything entertaining works.
Old memories, somewhat good ones, I'm ok tho, I always supress these things~
Sure, if that's what you're into, I don't see a problem, enjoy yourselves.
Do you do any VA work, by any chance? If not, you might want to consider it.
Exhausted? You should get some rest then...things are winding down here.
If that is what you desire, and it is bringing no harm to anyone, is there any reason not to?
I'm ok, anyway, nothing you could say about yourself?
Your efforts have certainly paid off. Keep up the good work.
There isn't much to say without any context or specifics. Have patience; you'll get to know me with time.
My brain doesn't seems to like to think anymore, I don't even remember what I ate yesterday. But I often suppress a lot of things, not only that.
She is Alice2 of course.
What do you think is your best trait?
That information is classified.
My level-headedness, I'd say. It's gotten me out of trouble a fair amount of times. How about yourself? What do you consider your best trait?
Most of it was practicing deeper voices at work; Work being Overnight shifts at Maccas.
Late night with one other person in the store and 6 hours of being alone gave me time to sing or say stuff without being embarrassed by anyone else listening.
How I can remain calm under stress, since most of the time I don't really care that much to begin with. Uhm... oh, are you studying or working?
Let's hope that they don't switch you to a day shift, lest you lose your golden voice. How long have you been frequenting the threads by the way?
It appears we're similar, you and I. As for my occupation, I'm doing both, going to school and working.
I quit my job actually, last October to move to live in the city with one of my younger half-brothers.
Doing the ol' jobsearch bullshit now.
My voice should only improve from here.
What are you studying and what's your job?
It was mostly Daft Punk albums, Infected Mushroom (like I Wish) albums and a whole bunch of other stuff I don't remember off the top of my head. I'd also hum some of Lazerhawk's stuff.
We had a manager who couldn't sing very well, so any time I worked with him, he'd throw me off. He can't whistle very well either. Nor do math, or cook.
The dreaded job search...I wish you well and hope that you get the job you deserve. Don't get too discouraged, okay?
I'm currently studying computational neuroscience, but I double-majored in business and mechanical engineering for my undergrad.
As far as my job goes, I work for a company as a marketing strategist.
Hence the management position.
Ok, your job made sense for me but as far as what you're studying it's all gibberish for someone with a simple mind like myself.
I'll be alright, I'll find a job at some point.
If not, I'll get some study.
Also, how bad he was at his job should mean he should NOT have been a manager.
Especially after he had slept with a crew member, while being married and having a child with his wife. It perplexes me how he still had his job after all this.
It's quite simple with some...explanation. But, in a nutshell, I study how to mathematically model the nervous system in order to create simulations for research purposes.
Do you study anything by any chance? If not, work?
What would you study if it came to that?
Very troubling indeed. But at the very least you have a model example of how NOT to live. Did the crew member he had an affair with keep her job?
Sounds like you must be pretty skilled.
Blunt, but I like it... What could possibly go wrong?
>how bad he was at his job should mean he should NOT have been a manager.
Fault lies first with the company that promoted him, and second with him assuming he didn't try to improve from that point on.
I wanna boost against a brick wall, can you do that?
No idea if she kept her job or not, I never saw her at work after she had the kid.
If I were to study, I'd probably go with a metal working course, maybe something else before choosing a trade study. Not truly sure.
The other bad thing about him is his annoying voice, I forgot to mention. Our store was having trouble getting more decent crew and it's just got worse since I quit and moved.
No idea what that is, is it deadly?
>having trouble getting more decent crew and it's just got worse since I quit and moved.
different people like to work at different times. Many people don't like to work at night. (for whatever reason)
Just a bit more than most. But honestly, the diverse education was a result of my indecisiveness during my younger years. Kids that do not have a clear, definitive picture of what they'd like to do have no reason to fear.
The most important part is to get started at all.
Metal working course? Do welding; I hear it pays very well and it sounds like a pretty cool job.
Now then, I'm afraid I must be taking my leave. It's been a pleasure; until next time.
It was for all times of the day, crew just kept leaving and I'm sure I was part of the decision whether people were staying or not.
I was the primary crew who did the overnights and I'd always hear what other people didn't do that I did from my nights, especially things that this manager did on the kitchen overnights I didn't do.
I kinda want to get around to doing more stuff, learning to weld and cut metal is something I'd find use for.
Farewell 2B, if you come across the steam group you'll be able to find me fairly easily.
>Kids that do not have a clear, definitive picture of what they'd like to do have no reason to fear.
I knew what I wanted once. I didn't really want it though and my interests shifted. By now though I don't really care what I do as much as what I know.
I'm off to sleep.
Honestly it sounds like if anything your manager was the one driving them off.
>I'm off to sleep.
He was certainly part of why I left.
I was sick of working overnights with him, sick of hearing about how shit he was at the job and sick of having to be told to make sure I do things I was already doing.
I think we've hit the end for the day.
Go on out there and chase your dreams.
