Bored in the tub. Let's have a watch thread. What cheap, shitty, nasty watches are you poor-fags wearing today?
>inb4 Seiko is cheap
I don't bath with my vintage 18k gold Omega Seamaster.
Bumping with superior watches.
Gift from my brother. I've had it for nearly ten years now.
Seiko Kinetic watch
Had this for YEARS even used it as a knuckle duster once.
Mine is all batons, though. No Arabic numerals
I've also got a pretty distinctive strap (rare skin) hence stock photo
From the 70's probably but I actually have no clue as how to date this watch.
Thread still up? Wow. Well OP bumping with my Ref. 16570 Explorer II. Also watchmaker student here if anyone's interested
gonna buy a jaeger lecoultre master ultra thin with réserve de marche pic related
Kronen & Söhne Imperial 060. A piece of crap watch, about $35 online. I wear it only when I visit my sister. Here is the story:
>I love her.
>She has job and earns own money, but is too much of a spender.
>So always asking to lend money, mostly like $10 up to 50, sometimes around $300-400.
>Always late to pay back: 'bought pair of shoes, had a 'girl's night out,' that kind of excuses.
>I hate that, I need my money back.
>After 10 times or so in a year, told her no more loans.
>Next time: 'I need 20 bucks, can I borrow from you?'
>Told me I was a shithead for not helping her.
>Getting fucking angry, made up plan.
>Bought watch, flashed it harcore next time I visited.
>Sis impressed by it's shine, 'New watch? Is it gold? What did you pay for it?'
>'Yes, is gold on stainless steel, about 1400 bucks. Worth it.'
>'But you couldn't help me with only 20?'
>'Nope, couldn't, had to buy a watch'.
>Shitty eyes at me.
>Every time after, I wear this watch, flashing it, and bragging about how expensive it was.
>She never asked to lend money again.
>Sooooo worth the 35 bucks.
got this in my mail today, pretty shit i know but better than a 50$ watch
didn't even notice
Here's mine, 7 bucks at the lidl kek. I hardly wear watches because of horribly skinny wrists, like OP and some others here
90% of the time im wearing some sort of Movado. My new casual is a calendoplan
http://www.movado.com/us/en/shop-watches/movado-heritage-series--3650005.html#start=1&cgid=mens-heritage got a brown band on mine however
Shit didn't know own anyone was gonna notice haha. Yeah it's me.
I get really tired of the speedies and submariners. I mean at this point the Seiko trash is more endearing.
can any of you tell me why you wear watches? is it a 'fashion accessory'? MEN don't fucking need accessories.
I collect watches. Patek Philippes. I keep them in a safe as an investment.
My PHONE tells me the time.
I have pic related but with chrome keepers and I love it
I like being able to tell the time and date without taking my phone out of my pocket
I only own automatics you wretched animal.
I pick them up and the second hand starts moving. set the time, go. very high-beat movements. not 1 piece under $8k.
skx's 7s26 = must shake for the tension to build up in the mainspring. non-hackable. non-winding. at LEAST swap for a 4r36.
I created this >>718798945 chart. live by it. love it. respect it.
I also create charts of which patek I wear, and when.
at the end of the year I calculate, to see which gets the most wrist time.
I know, successful, intelligent people do quirky things.
enjoy your skx, pleb.
Navitimer looks on a budget. Ain't even care.
Best watch I have ever owned
The moment you said seiko was cheap (geneally) i stopped reading. You know NOTHING about watches, seiko has economy seiko 5 line and very expensive line. Fucking retarded faggot
so that's what successful, intelligent people do in te US?
I haven't had such a good laugh for weeks, man
just imagine all the successful people in the US, coming home in the evening to sit down and relax a little with their watch-charts...
btw: the US is not America, it is one of the more shitty countries in America
Junkers - Hugo Junkers 150y special edition
too lazy to take pic so stock photo
crisp clear to read, simple and elegant
my edc watch
oh you wretched fool it's all a farce!
look. as far as anyone should be concerned. wear what watch you like. no snobby sack of shit, and no chart should dictate what watch you buy/wear.
some of the wealthiest people I know own seikos and love them. seikos make great watches.
it's sad that our resident 'rolex watchmaker' is so snobby "if it's not a rolex or above, I don't like it!".
>What cheap, shitty, nasty watches are you poor-fags wearing today?
Tag Heuer Aquaracer Calibre 5.
I'd describe it as being just about the cheapest non-cheap looking watch you can buy.
Is it a 16610 day?
By the way, OP, your watch is a total shitter
Meh. I like the original 14060. Not a fan of that maxi case. Bracelet, blue lume, and max dial is nice though. The obese Sub.
What I wish Rolex would have done: maintain the regular case and upgraded the bracelet, clasp, bezel, dial, and hands.
I never see Rotarys posted in watch threads...
Does that mean they're shit tier?
Well, they are just keeping up with the times. (ba dum tss)
Huge watches are fashion and Rolex has made the sub bigger, without actually being bigger.
I just need the ceramic bezel.
I have a couple but this is my everyday watch
Invicta/10. Watches are shit. With the exception of the Invicta 9826OB with the Seiko NH35A automatic movement, stay way from these.
>pic related: my 8926OB beater watch
Lancaster Apollo, because im not rich neither poor lol
posting an actual superior watch. fuck your rolex shit.
