Well, in the short term we'll hydroblast it. Forcefully eject the material from the tubes with high pressure water, somewhere around 40k psi.

While we're running, basically we try to keep it as hot as possible while still getting the heat exchange needed to maintain proper partial condensation of product (while separating unwanteds) so we can continue to strip. See pic, top right, though we're not running a product at that moment.

Reactor (biggest vessel) is operating at 300C, boiling off volatiles comprised of low boiling point oils and water. We are trying to separate the oils from the water in the heat exchanger I linked above, which is similar to E2801 in this pic.

We run that exchanger on steam and monitor differential pressure across it. I built a controller, that varies internal steam pressure (ergo temp) to minimize pressure while also minimizing dP.

So, it lets itself stay cool but only as long as dP is low, then it heats up.

After going back to school and landing a career not meant for mexicans, I chucked em. Now, a good pair of timberlands for hiking and to the office on snowy days (I walk to work). Only problem is that now they are starting to stink like old funk and sweat, which is a problem indoors.

my timberlands are the comfiest and most durable boot i've ever had. i mostly use them for work but they are insulated and make great hiking boots especially in the snow.

i used to buy cheap ones but they got worn out all the time so I said fuck it ill spend over 200 on a pair and see how long they last and if its worth it. its definitely worth it.

It's a british ale that I can get ahold of, and it is fuckin smooth.
>>718612415
might be worth a try if you're not into heavy, chewy beers.
>>718612440
yeah we have machinists, but only 2. that was one of the areas downsized by retard managers looking to take credit for saving a penny recently.
most of our mechanics are now "utility" mechs who supposedly can do work in any trade which (as steelworkerdick here will tell you) is bullshit.

They have my millwright doing pipefitting work and my boilermakers doing welding work. Don't make sense.

the pub ale. comes in pint cans over here in 4 packs. hits the spot when I'm not in the mood for a stout. here it is on the bottom of some guinness.

So I take it your company is outsourcing and actually paying more when you could have a toolroom and a few CNC machines that could crank out parts not only on the fly... But cheaper?

>7 years programing and running fanuc controlled EIA code
>3 years running large scale HBM (80tons was my heaviest part)
>9001 certified inspector
>Forktruck, crane, flatbed licenses.

Hit me up

they're running the bare essentials in the shop, other than pipefitters, honestly. we use contractors for most capital jobs, all insulation, and all cleanup.
fabrication of new parts is handled in house, but there's a backlog.
also, no room for more headcount...

you should. that's the best way to turn large profits. specialize in asbestos removal, scaffolding, or environmental cleanup.
