Stop thinking about it. I've been there before from tough diagnoses and other traumatic life events. If you have friends now is the time to lean on them. Fucking forget about the cunt who left you because she's a piece of shit for leaving you over a diagnosis. Be a real person and accept you ailment. Own that shit and wear it proudly. Accept that your one of the people out there who has stared death in the face and not looked away. Bro I know 5 people with epilepsy it honestly isnt that bad, and I don't mean know as in speak to them online i mean know as in close friends/ family, just make sure you have someone you can trust close as you can make the government aware of the situation and you and your carer will legally get transport and maybe even medical bills payed for you if it is to do with your epilepsy

epilepsy sucks (source: have it) but its usually controllable and the med side effects dont mess u up that much after u get used to them. take keppra, it jacks up ur testosterone like a steroid so u can get that rage. it took a while to get it under control for me, but been where u are, just gotta sack up and deal with it

No, it isnt "easily" controlled. A lot of people are very sensitive to the medication and need dosing adjustments regularly. Not to mention the littany of side effects, of which I am currently experiencing dizziness, nausea, and memory loss. Epilepsy and other seizure disorders are no joke.
