Pulp Fiction is a fantastic movie! It blends the characters violence and humanity insanely well. You have characters that are debating giving a woman a foot rub and then shooting a man the next. The head of the mafia gets fucked in the butt in a series of unfortunate events.

The scene at the beginning of the movie with S. Jackson and Travolta is one of the (if not longest) single shot scenes in cinematic history, as a side note.

It's one of those movies that makes you laugh at the surrealism of it but at the same time really makes you think about it. It gives every character a lot of dimensions.

It's not "oh this is the bad guy and he is evil 24/7" Travoltas character literally gets shot after taking a shit. I loved his character but from an objective viewpoint he was technically a bad guy.

10/10 Quentin is God.

Reservoir Dogs is a classic. The point of the movie isn't the violence of crime or the action but what happens afterwards.

It's a satirical nod to the fact that so many movies focus on the action or the happily ever after but never pay attention to what really happens afterwards.

That's how I interpreted the movie anyway.
