It was miserable so as long as I still had alcohol around I said "fuck it" and just kept drinking as much as it took to not feel that way anymore. Fat meal right after work, then drink a bottle of gin along with bong rips till blackout somewhere near 1 am.
I honestly don't know how I functioned but I did.
Good nutrition and lots of exercise I guess.

It started happening to me after drinking heavily every night (15-20 units). It started with mild shakes and really bad anxiety so to curb that I would go to the store as soon as it opened, buy two bottles of wine, go home and drink them as fast as possible to pass out. Sleep all day, and repeat. It got to the point where if I didn't time my next drink perfectly, or have backups in my fridge, that I would start sweating and shaking like a queer at a weenie roast. My voice would be trembling, I'd be grinding my teeth and I couldn't hold something without risking breaking it. Also couple that with crippling anxiety and paranoia.
