Sorry to say but I don't have a military background since I can't go in the military because I'm a bit deaf and because I've got a deformed left foot from breaking it 3 times first time at birth and twice before I was 5. (The left foot isn't that deformed it's just a bit smaller than the other and has less flesh than the others so not too bad. I can walk on it just fine which is awesome because I don't need to use a wheelchair) But my relatives have a bit of record. My great grandfather was in the Irish republican army. It was pretend war often boring waiting for 6 hours for operations to start and having a hyper intense 15 mins of "combat" with live rounds.

Just joined the Canadian Armed Forces. Air Force / Aviation systems technician. Headed out to BMQ on Saturday. Beats sitting on my ass working in a shitty warehouse. 63k a year with spec pay after 4 years up to 70k guaranteed. Not bad for a high school drop out lol.
