It's because we are all fucking gullible, and most of us are spending away blindly on remakes, the biggest example being the Star Wars franchise, which has long lost its glitter.

If we we're any smart, we'd stop encouraging this bullshit with our money, and in turn, the message would be to ask for something new and fresh.

There is constantly new art being created, lots of it profound and thought provoking, be it music, movies, you can always find something refreshing, but that also means, making an effort to find it.

I suppose there is beauty in that as well.
