My cat was 17 years old when he was killed without my consent. He had a bad urinary tract infection and some stuff happened and his blood became infected or something. I found him laying around one day and he didn't want to move. Took him to the vet and they brought me back a vile of his blood after getting a sample and it was really dark. She said something about an infection or something. It's been eight years and I don't remember the exact details. However, they wanted to keep him overnight and do stuff. I got a call two hours later and the woman said they put him down and sorry, blah blah blah. I pretty much flipped the fuck out because I never have them permission to do that. I picked his body up next day. They led me to a freezer like you'd see in someone's garage. He was in a trash bag. I got him home to bury him, and when I pulled him out he looked like he had been used as a chew toy. I was disgusted. To add insult to injury, I get a bill in the mail for $400-some. Never paid it. They had my cat for a total of less than three hours and killed him without consent. Never felt the same way about any other cat since. He was great. Cheer up, OP.
