Expensive as fuck man. My new FX6300+motherboard+R9 Fury only added up to about $300-$400
Your motherboard, CPU, and GPU add up to over $1100. My performance is going to be far beyond half the performance of this build yet costs around 1/3 as much money

FX6300 IN 2016 LUL
but yeah his build is expensive as fuck
>>715449059
good girl
>>715449159
keep in mind this is australian dollars, we pay fuck loads for tech
>>715448934
I don't know if this is legitimate or trolling but Micro anything will fuck you over with what you want.
Liquid cooling = NO
Not worth the risk. Go ATX and get a fan or 2 more
>>715449234
You can call it shit but Vulkan is showing better than i5 2500k performance with the stock FX6300.
You can't deny the price/performance ratio of AMD products makes them really worth it
>>715449328
fuck me over how? isn't micro atx the same as atx just without pcie slots?
>>715449595
Micro atx allows no room for upgrades. ATX does. It's all about ventilation which Micro atx doesn't have. Parts will burn out quicker and not last as long. Also 550w psu is pretty shitty m8. You can easily get an 800 + one for a tiny bit more.
>>715449595
Its just shorter. You can still do multi GPU setups with them though. Some come with 2 PCI-E x16 3.0 slots and allow enough room for 2 dual slot GPUs

bs man
Cases like the Aerocool cube which is micro ATX, can allow for CPU heatsinks like the NH-D14 and 2 full length dual slot GPUs. Add a few fans to improve intake and the GPUs should be fine unless your are running R9 390xs or something with an awful cooler

I get my info from here, good spreadsheet
needs more storage. There's plenty of good 1tb hdd out there. use ssd for form game + os + your main game you play and that's it
get an hdd for yourself
Ditch the liquid cooling; you don't need it for a fucking i5; just find an inexpensive cooler that will fit your little babby case. Use the money you saved to bump up to 16 (2x8) gigs of ram. 2133 is fine. Personally, I think you're overpaying on that motherboard unless you want to overclock, in which case you shouldn't be fucking with microATX anyway.
Basically, you just need to rethink what you actually wanna do with this.
>>715449931
cheers, ill check it out, and dont even sweat the hdds my man, already got a few to put in
>>715449899
i originally wanted an aerocool ds cube, but can't find them for sale here in aus anymore
>>715448934
Wait until Q1 next year when the new gen of AMD cpu's come out. There is an actual chance that they will be good this time and could trigger actual competition with intel. We might see a big drop in CPU prices and you could get a lot more bang for your buck if you wait a couple of months.

>>Far beyond half
Nigger what the fuck are you talking about. Look up the benchmarks. Also, your power consumption and thermal issues make my balls cringe.
>>715449402
yeah, like 3 years ago, you fucking idiot. The haswell i5's thrashed everything AM3+. It's a dead socket, and Zen is about to come out anyway.
I'm buying a friend the DvD for the Chapelle Show for Christmas. Also got her a beer hat.
>>715450178
interesting, was going to buy just after new years, waiting an extra month or two might be possible
>>715450278
cool beans my jim jam
>>715449683
dual gpus isnt a problem for me, id rather just get a better card. good news about 2 pcie slots as i could put a wifi card in there, it's not a priority for this build, but would be nice
>>715450010
i am rethinking the AIO cooler, but i think 16gb of ram is overkill as fuck (still leaves me room for 2 more sticks in the future if i do end up needing it). and i am probably gunna overclock, but not by heaps, so hopefully it will be fine.
im not 100% married to micro atx, but i kinda really want one. i'll see how it goes
