Keep going. computer science is a great career, pays well, good hours, lots of jobs, but you really do have to love it. If you don't, its not for you. Java vs c# just depends what you want to do, there are probably 2x more java jobs total though.

I've not seen any issues with outsourcing yet. Typically the shit for brains project go overseas, and even then its under close supervision. For the most part china / india is 10-15 years behind the US in coding, so unless you're working on something that could have been done in 2000, you're pretty safe. They are catching up though, but you have to start somewhere.

In my experience the issue is lack of problem solving, they can follow patterns, but not figure it out themselves.
