I understand, Buy and read Starting strength or go to Stronglifts.com and do SL 5x5. They are both beginner strength routines that are literally perfect and designed for beginners. They arent a meme, you are starting out and need to elarn the basics and stick to compound barbell movements. The only things i would ever add are pulldown, dips, and light ab work. You get the calorie burning and cardiovascular effects by getting your HR up with the supersets(no rest for those unfamilar), and you gain muscle mass, just not strength as much, by doing high rep/light weight. Lean muscle burns more calories at rest than fat. It's pretty simple. The problem with fitness is everyone tries to overcoplicate it. Eat halfway decent, buy a power rack, Olympic weight set, ez curl bar, and dumbbells, and some type of cardio machine, and just fucking workout. 4x8 3-4 times a week to cut and hypertrophy with cardio on off days or opposite end of the day from your lifting, and 5x5 compound lifts to build strength. Eat wise on cuts eat a lot on bulks. It's pretty simple.
