For new people:
It's a made up foundation that is specialized in "saving" humanity by containing supernatural/dangerous objects/creatures. For example SCP-173 breaks your neck if no one is looking at it. Blinking = death if you lose sight of it. It got a huge fanbase with a couple of games which are actually really good. An SCP is one of those objects/creatures. You can read up on it on their website, it's pretty fun to read up on some SCPs.
Judging from that, I would say my odds of survival are quite low. I've got no talent or skill in infiltration and if I'm discovered it seems most likely I'll be killed.
I have to hang out with an immortal pomegranate, seems fun
Got an orbiting space sattelite which is semi sentient, and its main weapon causes insanity. Suicidal intentions were induced in test subjects, and at max intensity caused permanent insanity in all personel within a 2km radius.
BUT it only responds to command to fire, so for 12 id be okay
>SCP-978 appears to be a standard chrome-and-black Polaroid One instant camera, with no distinctive identifying marks or damage. SCP-978 operates the same as a standard camera, and shows no anomalous behavior beyond the photographs it produces. When a subject is pictured with SCP-978, the photograph that develops shows not what the subject was doing at the time of the photo, but rather what the subject wanted to be doing.
Not half bad. But the most of the pictures taken of me would show me either drinking, fucking or playing vidya.
>Description: SCP-1376 is a yellow Sanyo VPC-WH1YL waterproof camcorder manufactured circa 2009, and is outwardly unremarkable except for some minor scuffs and scratches as a result of extended use.
Whenever a video recording is created using SCP-1376, the resulting audio track is narrated by a male voice with a British accent in the manner of a nature documentary through unknown means. The audio modification is consistent with professional-grade post-processing and audio mixing and even includes fading in and out of the original audio as appropriate to the subject matter recorded. Still images created using SCP-1376 are unaffected.
>Addendum 1376-01: Log of Notable Recordings
Subject: A recording created by SCP-1376's original owner of his wife, presumably as a test of its capability after initial purchase. Subject is in the living room of their home and conversing with [REDACTED]. Dialogue is faded out and unable to be deciphered.
Narration: And here, we see his mate in the heart of their den. Extremely protective, the female will go to extreme lengths to protect her offspring, even resorting to violence if necessary. Although the pair are quite close and affectionate, she will later spurn his advances, citing exhaustion with her daily rounds.
I may not survive the horrors within
SCP-961, some kind of haunted sundial.
Apparently you can leave it out of the sun in a closed, empty room for up to 13 hours at a time before any odd effects start occurring; basically means I'm totally fine.
Not only that, but the worst that could happen is vivid hallucinations and unconsciousness, the only way I could die would be via suicide.
>After four to five hours of uninterrupted exposure, the subject will cease speaking on topics pertaining to Methodist Christianity, and instead lapse into describing a previously undocumented religion featuring violent sacrificial rites and practices. At this point, separating SCP-1430 from the subject will cause permanent psychological and neurological damage.
well im fucked
