Tobey Maguire was a better Peter Parker, Andrew Garfield was a much better Spider-Man. I know it's mostly the writers making Spidey more true to his comic self, but Garfield did a good job acting.

i honestly think they will. Marvel is using this new "secret wars" crisis in the comic to collapse the regular universe (616) and the ultimate universe. Miles Morales is one of the few characters that will survive this crisis and show up in the regular continuity. And they are wanting the comics to reflect or at least have easier tie in to the MCU so for MArvel Miles seems to be an obvious choice

Well since they have 'shared' Spiderman, I hope to god that there will be a Maximum Carnage movie or TV show sometime in the future.
