This isn't about worship though, to me at least Phil Hartman was one of the few amazing things that came from SNL. I recall growing up seeing some of his skits and genuinely feeling joy laughing at some of his work. Absolute shame his bitch wife shot him before turning the gun on himself.

Roger Ebert, I read his stuff every day and felt like I knew him. Also his last written words were a goodbye, followed with his see you at the movies line. Still chokes me up. Also John Ritter. Had no idea who he was, saw him on Conan. Dead a few days later. Made him seem like a real person and it felt like it was
This man. His show was alright but something about him really hit me hard when he died. I don't even like celebrities but I was genuinely hocked when I saw he died of pneumonia of all things...and at a relatively young age too.
