Just doing my irregular checkup on Impact Wrestling, and am watching pic related. Finished the opening tag-match (was really good).
Question to regular watchers: how has their product been since Anthem took over?

The first taping was rewritten in a few days following contract shake-ups (Galloway out, Alberto in, Hardys out, also other departures) and is dogshit.
After that, it becomes pretty solid. They're still losing money but it's more about the sins of the past than current failings.
I stopped watching when the Hardys left, like a reasonable person. It sounds like it's been pretty good in the X division lately. All I know is, last time I tried to watch an episode of Impact, I had to turn it off out of boredom

So by the time Slammiversary, right? I picked it to sample as it seemed like the right show to gauge from seeing as how this was a unification show.

Yeah, things were running pretty well by the time of Slammiversary. Going straight there means missing the build and that is important on a show like Impact, but you can probably get the idea.
