In all fairness to Reigns, it's pretty easy to say Cena won the war of the words when he always begins the talking and his music plays immediately after his final word not giving anyone else a chance for a comeback. Not to mention them saying that everything they've been saying is scripted anyway. Reigns would have been pretty over if when Cena said the fans hold the "keys" he said "No, it's the geriatric in the back."

Saying that Cena still would have destroyed him. It's more to the point no matter how many times they do this, it's always the same thing over and over.

Really? I never get the sense. But I never thought wrestling was real, I am a new fan. I started watching it same I am watching any other TV show.
These people are actors and stuntmen. They are great acrobats and athletes and stunts they can do is better then any circus shows.
And sometime you can get great pieces of storytelling (see Sasha v Bayley, Miz v Dolph Ziggler and AJ Styles vs Cena) with final resolution in the physical conflict in the ring.
I don't understand why anyone would think "shooting" would be an option in today's WWE.
