I think we know the real reason Cena said all that insider shit. He doesn't like TV fans and Pajeets. He wants that Suburban Starbucks Cash. And he knows that's what smarks are.

It's a recorded trend in corrupt industries to try to build a cult that will spend fortunes on the product instead of relying on popularity with the public.

First Batista, then, Punk, then Bryan, then Reigns... at the end of the day they were all stepping stones to change WWE's demographic into a cult. There never was a plan to replace Cena. His next Title Run will probably be Bruno Sammartino-esque until he retires, in a last ditch effort to sell WWE to Disney and run with the money before they draw less than TNA/GFW. And when they write the history book about how wrestling fell from heights as lasting and memorable as the Roman Colosseum, only you "SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT" fans will be to blame.
