>According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Cena/Reigns promo segment on Monday’s Raw came off as it was designed. All of the “shooting” and comments about “Cena talking about going heel, how Reigns was supposed to replace him but couldn’t get the job done, as well as Reigns talking about how Cena always buries the talent coming up but he’s the one guy on the roster that Cena can’t bury” were all carefully scripted. The only thing in the segment that wasn’t planned ahead of time was when Reigns forgot his lines, and Cena called him out on it.
>The segment was laid out the week prior, with Vince McMahon speaking to both men about what he wanted out of the segment. Cena and Reigns had outlines of the script by last Friday. Cena was supposed to be the face in the segment, with Reigns playing the heel. But the goal of the segment was supposed to leave it open ended with the audience being left to decide and it not being too forced.

>it not being too forced
Roman proved that's impossible for him right now. They should have had him locked into a room with cena for a few hours.
>Roman forgets the lines and ruins another segment

I can't believe people thought most of it was a shoot.

WORKED INTO A SHOOT
>>3091241
imagine being so triggered by the mere MENTION of some random jewish manlet who gives opinions that a kind of big amount of people listen to that you fly into a seething, frothing, sperg fueled rage.
Was Romanetty crying also a part of the "heavily scripted promo"?
Big DoG got BTFO and the E is just doing damage control ("That was supposed to happen!" - yeah right)
I'm sure Stephanie was in the back giving Roman high fives for fucking up the promo...

>>3091537
1)Fix your pronoun usage before calling someone else stupid, retard.
2)Vince stopped being a genius after WCW died and the 90s ended.
>forgot his lines
Big Dog wasn't feeding in to Cena's bullshit and rightfully kept quiet. He didn't "forget" anything.
Wait, I just saw this weeks Raw and came here to think what you guys thought about them scripting a shoot in a much more blatant way that CM Punk (in his case I'll admit I was worked) and you're debating whether it was real or not? This is the supposed largest online smart mark community?
I thought it was really shitty of WWE to do a worked shoot in order to sell the fight no one wanted to see but guess I was wrong.

Yeah, he decided then and there to stop playing into the bullshit. Good on Big Dog for not letting Cena bury him like everyone else.
>>3091621
Was the shuffle/shovel flub a part of his plan too? Or maybe the whole getting booed as the top face has been his plan all along too.
>>3091291
fucking HOT
>>3091677
I know, I'd be willing to bet a sizable amount that the were both extremely turned on by that.
>The only thing in the segment that wasn't planned ahead of time was the part that proved Cena's scripted lines were actually correct.
Dramatic irony, folks.
Why do smarks pay $10 to hear this? Newsflash, it's wrestling everything is fake.
You're all deluded if you think that signing didn't go as intended. Roman flipped the table but didn't fight obviously symbolizing he got mad inside because he knows it's futile to talk anymore. That's becoming the Silent Badass 101. After WM he was 'forced' to 'shut up' too.
FURTHERMORE, shuffle was obviously a reference to Five Knuckle Shuffle. The writers overestimated the fans' intelligence thinking they'd get it. It was just something clever that didn't get the reaction it deserved.

Roman apologist
>>3093965
Also Roman was scripted to have facial expression that intimidated Cena.
His stumbling into words was also scripted to give Cena a chance to defend himself. Fans are just too stupid to realize the genius of writers, Roman was clearly the winner of the exchange. It's the fan's fault if they don't get it.

Thank you captain obvious. Retarded wrestling fans need to be reminded that their wrestling is gay and fake every week, they have such a short attention span.

>>3094360
But everybody knew Roman was shit years before this.
Doesn't matter that it's scripted, I marked for the fun of it on this one after visiting this board a few times
It had to be scripted. Hell, wasn't Hogan an Shawn notorious for bury all and any people they could? Why, because they could get away with it. There's no way Cena doesn't know or believe that he can bury anyone he wanted.
>>3094002
Hahahahahahah
The POINT here is that if the audience didn't get the point, the point is lost in translation. If the point was to subtly show the audience something, and the audience did not pick up on it whatsoever due to poor execution, it may as well not have happened. The logical fallacy of your statement makes my head spin. You should redact yourself from this website, you utter cum cannon.
