How much would Vince seethe if New Japan get Stone Cold to be a special ref for the main event of Wrestle Kingdom 12
About the same when Flair and Hogan went to TNA

Hogan left after he was completely burn-out and Flair was not only Mr WCW but he left after a big retirement match where he looked like someone grampa instead of the nature boy. Meanwhile Stone Cold retired on his prime and he's related to the company's peak of popularity so it's not really the same
I very much doubt they'd put him in the ME because of how respected Red Shoes is but if he made an appearance at WK in general I'll bet they'd be pissed. Maybe he could come out for the Rumble they do where a bunch of old dudes come out and beat up Cheeseburger
They'd be pissed but not seething. They definitely wouldn't like it, but I just don't think they care enough to do or say or reference or really do anything at all.
On SCSA podcast, Austin talked about how much he loved hanging out in e back at the nJPW event and was impressed with how organized they were for the whole night. Jim Ross for whatever stupid fucking reason barely said a nice word about NJPW. I could see SCSA showing up but he said he didn't want to take the spotlight away from the young guys. Something Vince should realize for his own product.

He probably can't because I thing if you are under a Legend's deal WWE has to approve all your outside appearances.

Austin would never.

It might be time for him to step away from that if NJPW can offer him more. They are owned by a trading card company. They basically print money so I can see them offering him a nice contract just to attract Americans. It would be 2nd time Austin killed WWE.
