Anyways, the reason is because Cena is really the only active legend in the industry. Despite NJPW shitposts on this board, even though NJPW is having a great year (which is good for them) they are absolutely nowhere close to the name recognition in the US of WWE stars. I'm assuming most of these wrestlers you're referring to are American or Canadian, so it would make sense that they would want to fight John Cena (the most recognizable wrestler today in North America). Ask a wrestler in a Jap outlaw fed and they probably wouldn't care about John Cena as much.
