Sup /asp/, how does a dork that likes fighting games such as myself into wrestling?

It's something I never really got as a kid, but I reckon I could appreciate the theatrics and the camp factor now. Japanese wrestling looks pretty crazy.

Is there any kind of guide that could point me to some historic events worth watching as a primer?
