So I was thinking. Fatal 4 Way matches are no DQ right? So what if Roman, Braun, and Joe all hide guns in their tights at Summerslam and then just shoot Brock in the middle of the ring at Summerslam? This way Brock is gone for ever and can't be a part timer ever again. Also he won't be able to go to UFC either which the WWE doesn't want. I believe this scenario would make Vince a very happy man. What do you guys think?

I always assumed that the kayfabe reason for never brining a gun is that, yes you wouldn't be disqualified but you would be arrested for threatening with a fire arm or murder if you actually used it.

The meme was invented by guys who hated the concept of No DQ matches and were trying to trash it.
Jesse Ventura hated them on commentary and would always use the gun example, because he felt he couldn't kayfabe his commentary if the rules say there are no rules. So he would often say shit like "well now, this is just STOOPID. He's using the steps but if this is no disqualifications, why doesn't he just use a gun?"
