Does anybody else really like wrestling again since following NJPW? I only started watching wrestling again in 2016 when Styles came to WWE. But by 2017, and definitely by the time the Shakeup happened, I'd almost completely lost interest. WWE's awful wrestling style, booking, everything I was just turned off by. So then I finally, after many years of being hesitant, I jumped into NJPW. And it's just so refreshing. To actually like wrestling again and not being angry and complaining about everything but instead excited and entertained.

Between this, the NXT TakeOvers and Lucha Underground, it does reignite my like for wrestling again.

>NXT TakeOvers
No matter how uninteresting the weekly NXT shows get the TakeOvers are always really, really good.
Mate I've gone full aspie with wrestling again since returning to watch it mid way through last year. It's all I fucking do but njpw made me fall in love with it again. I'm one of the few who still get excited watching wwe I think

NJPW made me remember why I liked wrestling in the first place

Yeah, I'll agree this is pretty much me too. NJPW is pretty much my main. TakeOver is a good treat every few months. SDL I have on as background noise. I need to get back into LU, though.

>not being angry and complaining
It's because you people are a bunch of crybabies, and WOW, you dont cry and and complain about something, because you don't know jackshit about NJPW yet.
>muh promos xDxD
>muh draws my dude !!!1
>muh atitood era LMAO
this is what e drones actually believe. In the best “””"wrestling””””” brand where you’re forced to watch 3 hours of shitty womens and manlets matches and have to pay 9.99 for their WrestleMania moments™ where a 60 yo man buries any possible new talent you can offer.
Wwe is a boring reality show with no real man and no good matches, they depend on old and destroyed 90s wrestlers coming back to survive. Not even the great talent that you STEAL from NJPW can save your dying company.
this is why e drones get so butthurt in all threads for “ MUH STORYLINES, MUH BASED SUPERSTAR, MUH DRAAWS" even though they don’t get a cent of what they make
wwe has never had a 5 stars match. FACT
wwe wrestlers are not even wrestlers, they even call themselves “”superstars””. FACT
any actual good talent that you create is immediately buried to put over guys like Cena or Reigns. FACT
>inb4 some autismo posting pictures of “”” muh draws “””” , “”” muh profit “”””, (that is declining each year)
>inb4 some buttblasted e drone ranting about “le worked XD” “le seething”
>inb4 some total divas mark claiming that the attitude era was good
stay ding-dong diddly worked e-drones

WWE living in your head rent free, monica
It sorta killed my interest in wrestling even quicker seeing how Indy centric every promotion is now. I miss the old days when dudes looked like Ric Rude, Steiners, Kobashi, Chono, etc and all seemed credible in everything they did.

And that's the beauty about NXT. Sure, some shows can be dull, but if that's the worst complaint they have then they are doing something right. And the weekly show can actually be really good when they announce a high profile match in advance and deliver. Like Asuka vs Nikki Cross, that was a blast.
Gee, who would have thought building to something people wanted to see with a carefully planned pay off could work?
