Why not both? I personally think the MItB should just be a match or two at Mania, and the KotR should have a larger field involved, on a week-by-week process culminating in a Semis & Final round PPV

MitB is lit. Just bring it back to Mania. That'd make it feel bigger.

King of the ring is trash since they're always going to give the winner a "king" gimmick nowadays.

But the MITB briefcase can be good and suspenseful if they put them on actual somebodies and not fucking Baron Corbin and fucking Carmella.

They should've made it a shared PPV with 4 raw guys/girls and 4 smack guys/girls in each match. Then have Mr/Ms MitB able to cash in on either show.

MITB is exciting when done right. They love putting them on boring heels though.

If you win the briefcase you should have to schedule a real match for the title, like RVD did. Makes it more interesting, bored le ebin surprise cash in.

I think it would be fun if they mandated you had to give at least 24 hours notice. It would change and freshen it up for a few years. Problem is it's such a heel concept or used to screw over a heel.

Edge set the entire precedent unfortunately. His second cash in was caused by injuries and suspensions, and then Punk did it to Edge as comupance. After that it more orads became the thing to do. The fact they had two world titles post brand split for a long time made it even more lame a concept.
