I disagree. I think he is still funny. I think his US reign was full of great matches including that unexpected but welcome bump to Gable's career. I think Owens continues to be one of if not the best in-ring worker as well. He also frequently takes risky or painful bumps for the sake of a good show which is a level of dedication present in old eras but mostly absent today.
