>The original test run of T-shirts for the Bullet Club and its members at Hot Topic, which were at selected stores over the past few weeks was a big enough success that every Hot Topic store has ordered a full line of Bullet Club, Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes and Marty Scurll T-shirts. They started showing up in about 15 percent of the Hot Topic stores in the U.S. last week. The original deal was to eventually market Bullet Club shirts nationwide, but the individual shirts were test marketed, with the Young Bucks in about 143 of the 800 to 900 stores and Omega & Rhodes in a slightly lower number and Scurll not in many at all. But all the shirts greatly over performed and they will all now be in all stores starting roughly 7/17. The story behind this is execs from Hot Topic were in Orlando for WrestleMania and saw Bullet Club and Elite and Young Bucks stuff all over the place, and asked WWE why those popular shirts aren’t part of their deal. By calling, they found out they weren’t WWE shirts so made the deals themselves with the individuals

AHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HOLY FUCKING SHIT
ANOTHER NAIL TO THE COFFIN OF WWETTY

( )Not Wrecked
Also, it's really cool that I can just go to the mall and get Biz Cliz merch instead of ordering online and waiting for shipping.
>>
The problem is that Bullet Club shirts are for a specific and limited audience, when the whole market is supplied who else will buy a bullet club shirt?
>>
>>2830162
Real talk, these T-shirt are ugly as fuck. They have the potential to make real cool looking ones though, Bullet Club is a good name.
>>
>>2830168
Well this is really dumb for at least 2 reasons
>>
>>2830168
You mean...the same specific audience all wrestling shirts have?
>>
>>2830168
I personally know people who have no clue about pro wrestling but they like BC shirts. It just looks cool, something an edgy metalhead or /k/ommando would wear so there's definately a market outside of marks.
>>
>>2830178
I admit they may get the edgy teenager market.
>>2830177
Not all marks watch indie promotions, a lot just stay on WWE
>>
>>2830185
I understand that, but when you say that their merch is for a "limited and specific audience" the same applies for wrestling shirts in general.

The market will always be wrestling fans (at least for the majority).

I'm not even WWE hater of NJPW mark but damn, imagine getting literally cucked like this at your very own biggest event of the year. Ouch.
>>
I wonder how soon til WWE tries to strong arm them out of Hot Topic by threatening HT to go exclusive with their merch or they will walk to another retailer.

So what you're saying is that a bunch of 14yos and goth wannabees like wearing BC shirts.

I don't think Vince is too worried.
>>
>>2830168
lol i would have agreed with you 3 days ago when i wasnt into njpw at all but that g1 usa is the start of something
>>
>>2830230
Yikes, you must be really old and out of touch with anything outside your house.
>>
It also helps the shirts don't look like the cringiest shit imaginable like typical wrestling shirts; especially from WWE.
>>
>>2830230
>bunch of 14yos
As opposed to 40+ who watch WWE in average?

The fact that anybody here would respect hot topic shoppers and think they're a accurate representation of fans is terrifying. Literal sub human preteens.

Disgusting.

Real decent of them to donate shelf-space to all those anti-draws

its just as niche as heavy metal tshirts or pokemon shirts or whatever else stuff they sell there. not everyone is gonna get a Cannibal Corpse shirt either, but they sell them.

Some people go there for a random item here or there or for store exclusive vinyl. Not really a marylin manson starter kit store from the late 90s anymore.
>>
>>2830306

Big money. You're joking right? This is why all the bullet club members of yesteryear ran to the fed. They want to make money.
>>
>>2830379
Cody is making better money than he was in the fed, and the Bucks have a better salary than most midcarders, all while not working the same horrible schedules as wwe guys.

Seems fitting since that store attracts cringy wannabe hipster trash teens and at this point the Bullet Club has reduced itself to being cringy hipster trash.
>>
>>2830162
Like I said a few days go, they only had bullet club shirts and wwe shirts no young bucks shirts bullet club getting money not young bucks

>>
is prince devitt gettin a cut of this?
>>
>>2830475
You can't state something as fact and then ask someone else for proof of the opposite.
>>
>>2830162
I went to two different Hot Topics and all the shirts were sold out. They had WWE shirts too and the AJ Styles and Seth Rollins shirts were sold out as well.
>>
>>2830168

I paid for my first NJPW show three months ago. A year ago I wouldn't have even recognized a Bullet Club shirt in a store.

I'd be shocked if NJPW numbers aren't growing with every major PPV.
>>
>>2830576
This.

You people need to realize that whoever buys this shit is buying it because it's edgy, and Hot Topic is an incredibly niche store.
