Women's wrestling in America (and also WWE) has pretty much always been based on appearance. As long as they are attractive and "good enough", glaring problems with their in-ring ability and promo skills will be overlooked completely.

Ivory and Molly Holly were two of the best in WWE in the Attitude/Aggression Era but were never as important as Trish, Lita, Stacy, Torrie or Sable. Sara Del Rey one of the best American female pro wrestlers ever, got hired by WWE and put behind the camera. Kimber Lee is a hundred times better than Heidi Lovelace, but Heidi gets to TV first because of her look.
