Does comedy have any place in the main event? Would you prefer having comedy in the lower card/mid card?
I really enjoyed JeriKO, despite the constant Seth/Reigns matches. Thoughts on comedy's place in wrestling

I personally think that if the wrestler in question can deliver the joke woth good timing and poise, then by all means jave the comedy. The Rock had some truly funny shit back in the day, as did Angle. What bothers me is when a wrestler gets a decent reaction from a joke and WWE tries to make it their thing, like when Kane was teamed with RVD and all of their shit was comedy tier. It made it really hard to buy Kane as a monster again when they unmasked him.

Comedy belongs with jobbers exclusively

It really depends, how it is done. Even a face can be goofy and fun, but in the match it has to be "serious business" (as much as a fake match can be) for me. There are even a number of "traditional spots" that I hate for being stupid and silly.

I think Kenny Omega does it best. At house shows when he's teaming with the Young Bucks they're joking around and doing comedy spots but when he's got a major singles match he turns it on and it's serious time.
