When was the last match of Zayn's you would consider great, meaning up to par with his NXT stint or before.

Off the top of my head I know him vs Owens at Battleground was great. But I'm having trouble thinking of anything he's done in the past few months that has been worthwhile. He's still talented enough to do the work smoothly, but the content of his work has beeb lacking. Most of it hasn't even been singles work. He's just putting in consistent passable matches. This Corbin feud isn't anything special. The Strowman feud buried him. He got to pin Seth but it was a match full of shenanigans and hardly either man's best work. He hasn't had any singles action with AJ that I can remember. There is literally no point in being that good of a wrestler if you are going to put on nothing but B- singles matches. You can say that's bookings fault, but he agrees to have the matches and he chooses to phone it in. Owens and Styles are two wrestlers that have managed to fit themselves into Vince's family-friendly carnival without coming off as sell-outs. They seem like two guys who fight backstage and put in the extra work in-ring to make sure they aren't involved in anything terrible. Zayn comes off as being either a sellout or a gullible yes-man.

If you ask me, he's more worthless as a solo act than Mojo Rawley at the moment. They should pull him out of the singles division and give him a Canadian tag team gimmick with Tye Dillinger. We won't be missing out on any stellar matches by moving him in that direction.

In the Strowman matches he was pretty much supposed to sell all the time and probably is one of the reasonse Strowman has developed pretty quickly.

The Corbin Matches are okay, but again not there to let Sami shine (even if he goes over in the end) and Corbin isn't exactly that great himself.

When Sami was actually in the ring with good workers, he is great and no, that isn't only because those good workers are carrying him.

Give him 25 minutes with AJ and it will be WWE MotY and even AJ won't have a better match.
